  • Summary: Complete inventory of working features across all three platforms as of April 2025.

Web Features (All Platforms) ​

  • Workspace Management:
    • Create shared workspace OR personal workspace
    • Invite people to shared workspaces via invite link
    • Switch between multiple workspaces
    • View list of projects in current workspace
  • Project Management:
    • Create projects within workspaces
    • Upload files to projects (audio, video, DAW files, images)
    • Browse projects in workspace
    • Rename projects (hover over name, click pencil icon)
  • File Management:
    • Upload files to any workspace/project
    • Play audio files with spacebar play/pause
    • Seek controls: 5-second rewind/fast-forward, previous song restarts current track
    • Rename files (hover over name, click pencil icon)
    • Click file to access comment section
    • Currently playing file shows in bottom left corner as clickable link
  • Commenting System:
    • Comment on files
    • Timestamp comments: Clicking comment box while file plays pastes current playhead timestamp into comment
    • Mobile: Audio player moves above comment box when typing (currently glitchy when scrolled, pending overhaul)

Mobile-Exclusive Features ​

  • Local Workspaces: Offline workspaces stored directly on phone
  • Share Extension: Import files from other mobile apps (voice memo apps, etc.)
    • iOS: Private app storage requires share extension workflow
    • Android: Directory selection + auto-import for passive data entry
  • Push Notifications: Real-time notifications when collaborators comment on files in user's workspaces
    • User preferences for notification events coming soon

Desktop-Exclusive Features ​

  • Local Workspaces: Offline workspaces stored on desktop
  • DAW Integration: One-click "Open project in [DAW]" for:
    • GarageBand
    • Ableton Live
  • File System Sync: Projects mapped to desktop folders for automated versioning

Main Application Pages ​

  1. Home - Workspace Selection: Top-level view of all local + remote workspaces. Future: recent activity across all workspaces
  2. Workspace View: Project selection within workspace. Future: play main audio file preview from this screen
  3. Project View: File browser with project details, play files, comment access. Future: song sections, chords/lyrics, BPM attributes, project-level comments
  4. File View: Audio player + commenting interface
